Once upon a time, in neighboring donkey meadows of Corte Madera and Sausalito, lived two lively donkeys: Paski and Jack.
Jack tried inviting Paski to graze together five times, but she always brayed no, she thought his pasture was far, until she realized his barn was just a quick trot away.
At last, they met for a pad Thai feast in Sausalito.
Sparks flew, and before long, Jack took Paski on a surprise journey along the coast, where he asked her to be his donkey partner. They celebrated with a cozy car-camping adventure under the stars.
Their days were filled with braying laughter—diving in Mexico’s clear waters, exploring Yosemite’s grand trails, and wandering around Stinson Beach. Then they flew to Chile for three magical months, sharing new sights and snacking on fresh meadow treats.
But the time came for them to part, and long distance proved truly hard for both donkeys. They missed each other’s warm presence and familiar brays every day.
At last, Paski returned to visit Jack, and with joyful gallops, they found their bond stronger than ever. And so their donkey journey continues, hooves and hearts always ready for the next adventure.
